Because lots of people are using more water than they should

Pg 39. 'Maybe the water you used to brush your teeth this morning was once drunk by a dinosaur.' This illustrates the hydrological cycle where water continuously moves around the different aspects of the water cycle. What is one thing you know about underground water supply?

That its really clean because it goes through all sorts of stuff before drunken.

Where the creek starts there are catchments that lead into rivers then the ocean

Pg41. Why is farming using more water today than it was 100 years ago?

Because the population has grown and there are more farms

The Horizons regional council and the Federated farmers of new zealand are making a plan to restore the river.

I think farmers should pay some money for the water they use because they use a fair bit and it would help out a lot to recycle water.

- We didn't win, but we still had an amazing time. Next time
